T7UIHA COVID 19 Measures

  

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, both the Lethbridge and Calgary offices of T7UIHA are closed to the public until April 1, as per a directive from the Board of Directors. The safety of our staff and tenants is of utmost priority to T7UIHA and we are doing our best to protect staff and tenants while maintaining delivery.

During the COVID 19 pandemic T7UIHA has been following the recommendations of the Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation. T7UIHA maintains our 160+ units in the Lethbridge, Calgary and Cardston areas according to operating agreements between CMHC and Treaty 7. CMHC has stated on their website that “any housing provider who has received financing or support from CMHC, to act compassionately and refrain from evictions.” T7UIHA is following this directive from CMHC and is in the process of contacting affected tenants directly through our Tenant Relations Officers. T7UIHA will work though this crisis with our tenants through your Tenant Relations Officer. If you are concerned about your rental payment please contact our office as soon as possible so that we can work with you during this time. 

Tenants are expected to follow the conditions laid out in their Tenancy Agreement and follow the Rules and Regulations regarding their units as outlined below. If tenants do not abide by these rules they are given notices, and if addressing issues with notices fails the last option remaining is eviction. Tenants are not favored, and we do our best to work with tenants on a case by case basis.

Maintenance Requests

During the office closure our maintenance staff are still available for emergency requests (ie furnace outages, electrical or plumbing issues) Please call the main number (403)327-1995 or email administrative@t7housing.com and we will forward your request to your assigned maintenance worker.
