Hank Shade has a Business Administration Diploma from Lethbridge College and has worked in the field of Indigenous Economic Development and Human Resource Development for 21 years. He was the Director of Blood Tribe Economic Development for 8 years. After moving on from the Tribe, he worked as an Economic Development Officer for the Department of Indian Affairs for 3 years, and after that was General Manager of Community Futures Treaty Seven for 10 years. In 2016 Hank returned to the Blood Tribe and served on Blood Tribe Council from 2016-2020. He has also served on various National and Provincial Indigenous Advisory Committees.
Hank believes his experience, skills and education will help him greatly in his new career in the field of Indigenous Subsidized Housing. He looks forward to his new role as Executive Director of Treaty 7 Urban Indian Housing Authority.
Prior to his employment with T7UIHA, Steve worked for 20 years for the Blood Tribe Administration as the Network Administrator. Steve brings many years of technical expertise to the organization and is enjoying his new role with Treaty 7.
